Ninjas, Rockstars and Superheroes are off the list. So what should you advertise for?
Someone knowledgeable, wise and calm would be good. Maybe a Guru is what you need on the staff.
Then again, there are definite drawbacks:
Gurus can be quite remote and difficult to locate; they tend to share their knowledge only with ardent (brainwashed?) followers
They’ll assume the mantle of supreme authority and regard themselves as the source of all wisdom
They tend to over-philosophise and are better at theory than practical action.
Bottom line:
Explain what you really want. Then judge the candidates’ knowledge and wisdom for yourself.
As for those who would answer to ‘guru’ – best leave them to their mountain-top refuges.
