January Newsletter
Happy New Year! 'Rein or Reign', 'SMART Meetings' and '6 Cool Communication Tips'
Welcome to the first edition of Better Communication for 2023. I hope the year has begun well for you.
It's great to make a new start (and open a shiny, new work/appointments diary). And, of course, there are all the new plans and promises for the twelve months ahead.
Following suggestions to include more business-focused, human skills-oriented content, I'm offering some ideas for 'new beginnings' in this month's newsletter. Let me know what you think.
If you can spare a few minutes, please 'Have Your Say' on some, or all, of the questions below. I'd like to include selected responses next month; tell me whether you want to be named or stay anonymous.
As always, if I can be of any help to you or your business, please get in touch.
Best regards
Janette
What do you most want to achieve for (or with) your clients in 2023?
What significant achievements did you experience in 2022? How will they inform your work this year?
What is your overall goal (aim) for the year. What’s the first objective along the way?
Has anyone inspired you lately? Who was it? What provided the inspiration?
What is the most impressive thing (quotation, article, book) you have read recently?
Is It Raining, Reigning Or Reining?
People often make mistakes when choosing between homophones (words that sound the same but have different spelling and different meanings).
I see errors with 'reign', 'rein' or, occasionally, 'rain' almost every week. Here’s a reminder to help you sort them out.
