I’ve put together a list of interesting words. Each one sounds like the ‘negative’ form of another word.

We all know what the words mean. But can we make them ‘positive’ sounding and get the opposite meaning?

Here’s one:

Dishevelled

You’re looking a little dishevelled. What happened?
They emerged with dishevelled hair and dirty clothes.

By ‘dishevelled’, we usually mean untidy or messy.

But can you be shevelled?
